A unique celebration of the traditions and culture of the Lubuskie region

Experience the taste, smell and unique character of our country. Taste traditional Polish cuisine and touch real local culture. Take part in a unique holiday - the Festival of Rural Housewives' Circles. Get to know Poland from the kitchen...

The Festival of Circles of Rural Housewives "Poland From the Kitchen" is a nationwide, unique event, prepared to emphasize how important it is to go with the times to nurture local culture
and tradition. The festival aims to integrate, activate and support local communities, promote Polish products and culinary heritage, and exchange intergenerational knowledge, skills
and passing on traditions to younger generations.

In order to emphasize the role of Rural Housewives' Circles in promoting the richness and diversity of local traditions and to deepen knowledge of the culture of each region, five competitions involving Circles from all over Poland have been prepared. A pinch of spice to the competitions will be added by financial prizes that Circles can win at each stage of the competition.

Meet at the Ethnographic Museum Zielona Góra - Ochla

The Lubuskie Final of the Festival will be held on June 26, 2021 in the beautiful open-air museum in Ochla. It will be an opportunity not only to watch the rivalry of Lubuskie housewives' circles, but also to participate in family traditional workshops. There will also be regional products and a unique musical and dance setting by the Lubuskie Ludwik Figas Song and Dance Ensemble.

In addition, the Lubuska Regional Tourist Organization, together with the Polish Tourist Organization, will encourage visitors to discover the unique attractions of the Lubuska Land, using the Polish Tourist Voucher.

Festival Final

The winners of the Lubuskie Final will represent the region on September 25, 2021 at PGE National in Warsaw, during the Festival Final. At that time, the contests will be settled and the Grand Prize Winners will be selected and presented to the Winners at a gala event. At the end of the Festival, the participants will be invited to the "Dancing PGE Narodowy" concert.

The Festival has received the Honorary Patronage of Mrs. Marshal of Lubuskie Voivodeship - Elzbieta Polak, and each edition will be broadcast live on the program "Question on Breakfast" on TVP 2.
