Hike and bike trail

In the eastern part of the municipality, hidden among the forests is a very picturesque village of Gryżyna. The Gryżyna Ranch Farm offers horse riding lessons, organizes trips and horse rallies. The most interesting bicycle and walking route leads from Gryżyna, initially along a footpath through a landscape park to Grabina, with a historic timbered church and an equally interesting 18th century palace. The manor house is surrounded by a large park, and at the foot of a high scarp there are springs, forming streams and flowing into the Gryżynka River, which has many beaver lodges. Further on, you can take the mid-forest paved road in the direction of Bytnica. Being in Bytnica, it is worth visiting the wilderness of Głębokie Lake. On one of the islands there is a large colony of cormorants. The next route leads through the buffer zone of the Gryżyński Landscape Park from Gryżyna towards the village of Kosobudz, where you can follow the oak alley entered in the Register of Natural Monuments. The rest of the trail is marked. On the way there are nice views of the Pliszka River meandering among high slopes covered with huge beeches, spruces and alders. A little behind the village of Kosobudki in the river valley there are two nature reserves. At the bridge over the river you can take the direction of further walk to the village of Dobrosułów, where is a neo-Gothic church from the 19th century. The road from Dobrosułów to Gryżyna can be travelled by two routes, with a choice of forest road for 10 km or an asphalt road through Budachów, Drzewice and Bytnica – 20 km, admiring the beautiful panorama of vast areas of fields and forests on the way. In Budachów it is worth seeing a baroque church from the 18th century and a historic park from the end of the 18th century.

Black trail: Niesulice trail (P) – Gryżyna (forest road) – Grabin (district road) – Szklarka Radnicka – length of about 22 km.

Gryżyńskie Lake

By the Gryżyńskie Lake there is a holiday resort picturesquely incorporated into the Gryżyński Landscape Park, with a large sandy beach, surrounded by nature reserves. Within the resort’s area is a guarded swimming pool, fenced with 100-meter bridge, water equipment rental, recreational health path.
