UNESCO World Geopark Łuk Mużakowa is a tourist product in the "place-area" category. The Łuk Mużakowa is a geological structure that is unique in the world in the form of a piled up moraine, in the shape of an arc located on both sides of the Polish-German border. In 2009, the Polish part obtained the rank of national geopark. Since 2011, the whole area has been certified as a European Geopark and included in the World Geoparks Network. Since 2015, it has been the only site in Poland that can be proud of the rank of UNESCO World Geopark. There is a unique anthropogenic lake district, with over 100 reservoirs on the Polish side, the waters of which amaze with their variety of colors. The most valuable objects are accessible along the geotourist route "Former Babin Mine,” and new objects are constantly being built. The jewel of the geopark is the unique Mużakowski Park in Łęknica and Bad Muskau. In combination with a network of bicycle paths, Nordic Walking and the possibility of rafting on the Nysa Łużycka River and attractions on the German side, this creates a coherent tourist product, with the possibility to ensure sightseeing and active recreation for several days.
