Statue of Christ the King of the Universe in Świebodzin

Since autumn 2010, the huge statue of Christ the King of the Universe has been located over Świebodzin and its surroundings. The Christ the King of the Universe statue is currently the highest Christ statue in the world. The statue, including the crown, is 36 meters high (33 meters for the statue and 3 meters for the crown). The arms span reaches 24 m, while its weight is estimated at 440 tons. The monument is placed on a 16 m embankment. It is impossible not to notice the monument. Visitors can see it from far away when approaching Świebodzin.
