The whole Park is located in Lubusz Voivodeship, in the communes of Międzyrzecz, Przytoczna, Pszczew and Trzciel and its area is 9,724.01 ha. The Park does not have a buffer zone.
The main treasures of the Park are surface waters and varied relief. The lakes are located mainly within the Pszczew Lakes Trough with a length of about 30 km. Their clear waters encourage recreation and water sports. The Obra River, where canoeing trips are organized, is also used for tourism. Most of the lakes have an elongated shape and the longest one is the Chłop Lake with the length of 4 150 m.
