• The Piast Castle in Krosno Odrzańskie – its origins date back to the first half of the 13th century when Duke Henryk I Brodaty built his residence in the area unrelated to the earlier settlement. For many years it was his main residence and a place to organize war expeditions. It was in Piast Castle that the duke died on March 19, 1238. In 1241, during battles against the Tatars, the castle gave shelter to Princess Jadwiga Śląska – wife of Henryk Brodaty – and nuns from Trzebnicki monastery. Later it was rebuilt many times, changing its character from a fortress to a warehouse, barracks, the Silesian Savings Bank and a teachers’ seminar. It was partly destroyed during the town fire in 1945. The contemporary interiors of the Krosno castle, well-preserved elements of gothic portals and vaults, a large collection of exhibits from the times of Crossen an der Oder, a wine cellar, a lapidarium or a torture chamber are only some of the attractions that a tourist can visit.
• Bridge over the Odra River – the current steel version dates back to 1905 and is 146 meters long. It is one of the landmarks of Krosno Odrzańskie.
• St. Jadwigq’s Church – a symbol of the city and the main tourist landmark due to its location in the very centre of the lower part of Krosno Odrzańskie. The temple is a very attractive baroque building from 1708, which was built on the framework of a church founded by Jadwiga, wife of Henry I Brodaty.
• The defensive walls in Krosno Odrzańskie – built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. They surrounded the whole town. Currently, we can only see their fragment at the PKS bus station and a part of the walls with the tower at Słoneczna Street. Together with the castle they created a defensive system of the city. The wall was built of stone and brick with a Wendish thread.
• Church of St. Andrzeja the Apostle – a neo-Gothic temple, located on the Andrean hill. It was built in the present form in 1825-27 on the foundations of the funeral church.
• Former villa district – estates stretching along the Odra River, built in the 1920s and 1930s on Świerczewskiego Street and Bolesława Chrobrego Street in Krosno Odrzańskie.
• Klabund’s bench – Alfred Henschke (nicknamed Klabund) was born in Krosno Odrzańskie on November 4, 1890 and died on August 14, 1928 in Davos. He was the author of "Ode do Krosno.” At present, a monument commemorating him is located in the square in Poznańska Street.
• Port on the Odra River – in addition to river traffic, the port is also a place of artistic events. There is a boulevard of John Paul II and large wooden sculptures.
