Kostrzyn Pompeii

The Old Town in Kostrzyn, destroyed in 1945 and not rebuilt, with the preserved network of streets and pavements, ruins of the castle, church and tenement houses, and the restored buildings of the 16th century fortress with the multimedia exhibition in Philip Bastion constitute a unique museum complex in the bifurcation of the Warta and Odra rivers.
