Geotourism route "Former Babin Mine"

Geotourism route "Former Babin Mine"
The path was built under the project: Common Brand "Geopark Łuk Mużakowa" the way to UNESCO. It runs through post-mining areas with characteristic lakes of colors ranging from turquoise to brown. This is the first educational path on the Polish side of Łuk Mużakowa and its construction is co-financed by European funds. The path is pedestrian and bicycle. On the route information boards are placed about the nature and geology and the history of mining in this region. In addition to the boards, there are benches, bicycle racks, waste baskets and piers over water reservoirs. This year, the trail will be extended in the direction of nature reserve "Nad Młyńska Stuga" and a viewing tower will be erected at the largest post-mining reservoir in Africa.
