Drzonków

WOSiR Drzonków is a sports and recreation centre located in Lubusz Voivodeship, 7 km from the centre of Zielona Góra. It is an ideal place for an effective and active way of spending free time. Away from the city noise, surrounded by green trees and fresh air, visitors can not only practice sports but also spend time with family and friends. All facilities have been adapted to the needs of the disabled.
To the beautifully situated among forests of Zielona Góra we invite not only sport groups but also individual clients, families with children, companies and organized groups. Drzonków is an ideal place for active recreation and an attractive way to spend free time.

Amenities:
The buildings of WOSiR Drzonków have been equipped with a typhlographic map system and all the rooms have been marked with Braille signs. In addition, a blind or visually impaired person can use a touchscreen phone equipped with an appropriate application, which through a wireless connection Wi-Fi or Bluetooth locates the object. Convex cobblestones are built into the alleys to help with mobility. All sports and accommodation facilities have ramps and elevators, and the sanitary facilities have been equipped to facilitate the use of disabled people with impaired mobility.
WOSiR Drzonków offers organization of training camps, competitions and events for people with various degrees of disability. All facilities are adjusted to the needs of disabled people, which is confirmed by the organization of competitions in beach volleyball, swimming, weightlifting, boccia, tennis, table tennis and shooting competitions.
WOSiR Drzonków has been entered into the register of centers, where rehabilitation stays for organized groups of disabled people with: motor dysfunction, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases (organized by external entities) can be held.

Swimming, shooting, running; playing volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis. In the afternoon, rest in the wellness or salt cave. In the evening a bonfire and horse-drawn carriage rides. Our coordinators will help to arrange a stay plan, accommodation will be adapted to individual customer needs.

Sports and recreation facilities
• Indoor swimming pool: 25-meter, 4-lane; Outdoor swimming complex: 50-meter Olympic swimming pool, 25-meter recreational swimming pool, paddling pool for the youngest with recreational equipment; 2 beach volleyball courts with equipment;
• Multi-functional halls (sports, tennis, conference and sports) for table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, tennis (4 indoor courts), fencing, fitness classes, as well as combat sports (judo, wrestling, karate, sumo)
• 2 outdoor courts with a brick surface;
• Pneumatic shooting range with 14 shooting positions; Outdoor shooting range with 42 shooting positions (pentathlon, summer biathlon);
• Fishing ponds; Playground; Recreational EKO garden; Picnic and recreational area;
• Equestrian facilities: Hippodrome with an arena, 2 indoor riding arenas, paddocks, stables, horse carousel, cross country;
Fitness room, salt cave and wellness complex (Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi, infrared chamber, Scottish whips, whirlpools, massages, treatments, etc.).

On foot, by bike
There are marked out forest Nordic Walking routes (up to 17 km) around the resort area. Forest paths allow for all-day hiking and biking trips. In addition, WOSiR is an ideal base for excursions thanks to its location. The nearest tourist attractions include the Palace in Zatoń, the Zimna Woda Nature Reserve and churches in Racula and Jarogniewice.

On horseback ahead
The center has both riding facilities (i.e. parcours, two indoor riding arenas, paddocks and cross-country terrains) and riding instructors authorized to conduct hippotherapy. In the stables, you can rent a box for your horse, or you can choose sports and recreational horses. The offer includes riding lessons for children and adults, chaise rides, for the youngest we offer pony rides. For those wishing to try their hand at saddleback, we recommend horseback riding on a lunge.
