The only republic of its kind – "Rzeczpospolita Ptasia"!

The Rzeczpospolita Ptasia is a new, unique in Poland initiative of the Society of Słońsk Friends "Unitis Viribus,” the aim of which is a club association of bird enthusiasts visiting the Słońsk area. Currently, the Republic has over 2000 citizens from many European countries. The heart of the Rzeczpospolita Ptasia is the picturesque town of Słońsk located in the immediate vicinity of the National Park "Warta Mouth,” the kingdom of numerous species of birds. The floodplains and meadows of the Warta Mouth National Park are significant place on the map of Europe for birds and their enthusiasts. Sometimes the presence of 250,000 individuals of the bird family was recorded here in one day. Every bird lover who visits the Rzeczpospolita Ptasia receives a Passport of the "Rzeczpospolita Ptasia.”
