It is the oldest English oak in Poland. It is a huge tree with a trunk in the shape of an elephant’s leg. The circumference of this tree is 992 cm, and its age has been determined at 750 years. The crown ending at 29 meters above the ground is still very vigorous. The oak grows near the village of Piotrowice, on the road from Szprotawa to Przemków. Driving from Szprotawa, in front of the Piotrowice village (on the right), there is a wooden plaque indicating the way to the oak (right next to the bar located there). An interesting fact is that the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Zielona Góra has bred "descendants" of Chrobry. These "royal" children have numbered certificates of origin!
The public task is co-financed from the funds received from the Marshal's Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship
